Voice input uses your browser's built-in speech recognition to transcribe your speech in real time.
In Chrome and Edge, audio may be sent to Google's servers for processing. Elucicute never records, stores, or transmits your audio.
Voice Calibration
Voice mode measures your room's background noise so it can distinguish your voice. This takes about 2 seconds of silence.
Without calibration, you'll use Fixed WPM mode (timer-based pacing) instead.

Elucicute ("we," "us," or "our") operates an AI-powered teleprompter web application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service at elucicute.vercel.app (the "Service").
We are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable data protection laws. We apply the strictest standard to all users regardless of location.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. We do not store plaintext passwords.
Scripts, categories, packs, and context documents you create are stored to provide the Service. For guests (no account), this data is stored locally in your browser. For registered users, it is synced to our database.
If you subscribe to Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your credit card number. We only store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID for account management.
When you use AI features (script generation, voice cleanup, AI editing, Live Q&A), the text you provide is sent to OpenAI for processing. This includes script text, context documents, and transcribed questions. Audio is never sent to our servers — speech recognition is handled by your browser.
With your consent, we collect anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature usage, subscription events). No analytics are collected until you accept our consent banner. We do not collect analytics for users who decline consent.
Live Q&A ratings (thumbs up/down) are stored with zero question or answer text — only a rating, session ID, timestamp, mode, and word count.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data (scripts, settings, subscriptions, shared packs, feedback) is permanently deleted within 30 days. Guest data (localStorage) is retained only on your device and under your control.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures including: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication (bcrypt password hashing via Supabase), row-level security on all database tables, and no client-side exposure of API keys.
The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Elucicute is an AI-powered teleprompter web application designed for video calls, interviews, sales calls, recordings, and management conversations. The Service includes script management, RSVP display, voice-gated pacing, AI script generation, and live Q&A features.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.
The Service offers Free, Trial (14-day), and Pro (paid monthly) tiers. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

You retain ownership of all scripts and content you create. By using AI features, you acknowledge that generated content is produced by OpenAI's models and may be subject to OpenAI's terms. The Service's source code, design, and branding are the property of Elucicute.
When you use AI features, your text is sent to OpenAI for processing. We disclose this before your first AI interaction. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed before use. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
When you share a script pack, anyone with the link can view and import the scripts. You are responsible for ensuring shared content does not violate these Terms. We may remove shared content that violates our policies.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elucicute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal proceedings.
